What a week!

Hello to the Nicky Wilsons Foxy Wheels 'collective'...

If you follow our social media posts, you'll know 2 things.

Firstly, Trees is experimenting with reels and things (apologies).

Secondly, we've had a busy and exciting sort of week!

We've had some radio play on BBC Radio Solent Introduces, where our squeals of delight were enough to send the cat racing out of the room!

Trees & Nick performed the acoustic version of our single at Quay West's monthly open mic (Which allowed for a sneaky little cover to be included!). It seemed to go down well! I am sure we will include a video somewhere of this!

We are heading off to Casemates open mic tonight (Monday 16.06.25) with a slightly different line up to our usual contribution to this most excellent originals only evening (if you haven't yet been - this evening would be the time to go! From 8 pm at The Casemates Studios and Cafe in Hilsea).

This Wednesday we have our first full band gig at The Black Balloon Sessions held at Back To The Belgrave in Southsea (details in above poster). We have been absent since our last full gig in November. So much has been going on in the background but we have all been missing sharing our music with you in person. So fingers crossed we can get some of you along for our return on Wednesday (18.06.25).

We are all thrilled for our return to be at the wonderful Black Balloon Sessions. Just like the aforementioned open mics, this weekly venue is jam packed to bursting with local musical and creative talent all in front of a welcoming crowd with gracious hosts, to boot!

Behind the scenes, Nicky continues to complete the production side of things with our 2nd album with just two songs to finish. Just some vocals to record and a touch of mastering and we are ON!
